Think! Data Services (www.thinkdataservices.com) was founded by Brenda Bijen as a Ghanaian-based IT service provider specializing in data collection, data management, and data analytics. The company supports organizations across West Africa in digitizing and optimizing their data-driven processes. Over the years, Think! Data Services has earned a solid reputation, particularly within the international development, education, and agriculture sectors, partnering with both local and multinational organizations.
In 2022, Brenda relocated to the Netherlands while continuing to lead Think! Data Services, frequently traveling between Europe and Africa. During this period, she observed a striking contrast between the two regions: a significant workforce shortage across various sectors in Europe, contrasted with a growing number of highly educated, unemployed youth in Ghana. This realization sparked a new vision—offering high-quality IT services in data management and data science from Ghana to a global client base.
Together with her Ghana-based team, Brenda developed DevHyve—a forward-thinking business process outsourcing (BPO) initiative.
DevHyve represents development, innovation, and sustainability. It is a new-generation BPO company focused on providing flexible, on-demand workforce solutions to organizations working on or building solutions that contribute to sustainable development worldwide.
In 2013, Brenda Bijen started Think! Data Services, a Ghanaian IT service provider with expertise in data collection, data management and data analytics. Think! Data supports West African organizations with digitizing their data-driven processes. The company has built a strong reputation, especially in the international development, educational and agricultural sectors, working with local and multinational organizations.
In 2022, Brenda moved back to The Netherlands while continuing her work for Think! Data Services, travelling regularly between the two continents. She was struck by the disparity between the two continents when it comes to workforce. While in Europe there’s a shortage of staff in most sectors, in Ghana there’s a growing number of graduated youth that cannot find a decent job. And so grew the idea of offering IT services in data management and data science from Ghana to the rest of the world. Together with her team in Ghana she developed the DevHyve concept.
